We are a non-profit community organization that works from and for the development, production, support and decentralization of culture and arts in the communities, so that all people have free access to culture and training workshops, overcoming the distances that limit them, managing voluntary contributions with private and public entities, creating links with the community, establishing contacts with cultural managers, institutions and companies to create instances of leisure and socio-cultural development.
The seal that marks this work is based on aesthetic, artistic and cultural displays, updated and dimensioned beyond any rivalry, dogmatism or ideology. Its objectives respond to this need; generating therefore, instances of social and artistic exchange with the purpose of advancing culture and promoting the diffusion of art. Providing the communities with recreational spaces linked to different artistic manifestations, the people, the art through workshops and training programs, design and production of events for companies and organizations, endowing them with a unique and innovative artistic seal: the seal Of CapaNegra.
CapaNegra Cultural Association supports the arts, culture and training. With a staff that covers matters of event production, workshop development and artistic creation, in addition to a wide range of activities that enhance this area and circulate it through different diffusion platforms.
The CapaNegra Cultural Association has a trajectory in the cultural participation of the Tenth Region, which begins with the organization of the International Festival of Itinerant Theater throughout Chiloé´s Heartland (Fitich in Spanish) in 2013. This initiative began in 2010 as CapaNegra Cultural Agents, which has 15 versions to date. To this date, The Cultural Association has collaborated in its implementation through various funds and generating conditions for its circulation in the participating territories.
Starting in 2014, the Group has focused on two areas of work: 1) to continue its active and independent participation in the organization of FITICH and 2) To strengthen the processes of training and artistic education in the territories with more and more themes televant to the social groups that benefit from FITICH.
Our Mission is to promote and develop the cultural, social and sustainable fabric of the communities of Los Lagos region, integrating culture and the arts into the daily lives of people and facilitating spaces for openness, exchange, growth and empowerment of civil society in their culture.
Decentralize culture and art, with equal access, creating spaces of cultural development in communities, from the experience and expressions of life, in an open and active way, promoting cultural exchanges between artists, publics and organizations; all that contributes to the sustainable development of Communities with greater social and territorial isolation.
